The War on Terror: Are We Safer?
In the bloodiest terrorist attack on a European target, 10 bombs exploded during this morning's rush hour in three commuter train stations here. The Interior Ministry said more than 190 people were killed and more than 1,200 wounded.
That may depend on what your definition of "we" is. Although it's not yet clear whether al Queda is responsible for this horrific act, we're certain Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with it. But then again, he had nothing to do with 9/11. If this was an al Queda attack, the Bush Administration in its Iraqi diversion and failure to follow through in it's war on terror and 'primary mission' of seeking out Osama bin Laden and al Queda, must bear some responsibility for this attack. Although that not likely as there's been no indication in the past three years that Bush and his mob know anything about responsibility or accountability. To Spain, we share your sorrow.
