The Jobless Economy and William Bennet's Wife

I can't wait to see how they'll spin the next 'jobs' report but this is how I view it. Let's say you're married to a compulsive gambler and your spousal unit lost 3 million dollars (along with your house, the vacation home, your kids's college account etc.) to his habit. He (of course it would be a he - hey, it's my analogy) comes in this evening and tells you he played again today and won $150,000 - would you want him to 'stay the course'?
