Following the Pied Piper

The most troubling thing about the weak 'apologies' from the NYTs and Washington Post was that they didn't suggest that they had learned from their errors, that the American public could expect them to be more diligent in the future. The fact that the SwiftBoat garbage got any play at all tells us that they may be on the 12-step program but they've got a long ways to go. Michael Tomasky at The American Prospect, demonstrates they're still missing the larger story.
