John Gibson: Terrorism "a treat, actually, to watch"

Via Atrios, this scummy comment from Fox's John Gibson:
The host city for the 2012 Olympics was picked. New York was out early and that was a big relief to me, personally. I think New York needs a rest from big events. All that security wears on you.

Then it was down to Paris and London. And the Olympic big wigs picked London...

Paris was exactly the right place to pick and the Olympic committee screwed up...

(T)he French are already up to their eyeballs in terrorists. The French hide them in miserable slums, out of sight of the rich people in Paris.

So it would have been a treat, actually, to watch the French dealing with the problem of their own homegrown Islamist terrorists living in France already.
Unless his ass is fired, then Fox Newscorp is choosing to support terrorism against those who disagree with their worldview.

Let these bastards know how you feel.

While we're at it, why don't we point out these comments to the following, also?

There are more e-mail addresses at Political Dogfight, from which I stole this initial list.

Update: From poster "Karl Hungus" in Atrios' comments, an interesting point about Gibson's comments which I failed to notice initially:
Gibson must assume the Bush won't win the GWOT if he's worried about a 3-week vacation from terrorism 7 years from now. Negative Nancy!

uh, gee, CJ - when I read the John Gibson article - the whole thing, that is -what I got from it was that it would have been nice to see France have to come face to face with the security issues the rest of the world is dealing with and the very ones that France criticizes our handling of. They criticize our handling of prisoners. Maybe they wouldn't if they had to handle their own. They laugh at our security measures. Maybe they wouldn't if they were in charge of keeping their own countrymen safe.
He never, ever, ever, ever said "boy, I wish somebody would've bombed France, instead of London" - incidentally, this article went online yesterday, but you chose to place it in the midst of the terrorist attacks TODAY just for effect. nice one.
if everybody sends this article to that e-mail list, everbody's going to look fairly stupid.
You DID read the whole article, didn't you CJ???

Almost,

I did read the whole article and, since I didn't read it until today, I didn't put it up until today. I doesn't matter whether London was attacked or not. The point is, this motherfucker is suggesting that some people deserve to be attacked by terrorists. That's bullshit and he needs to be called on it.

Also, I would add that the source for the website says it was posted last night at a quarter to eight:

Hopefully I can be forgiven for not checking in hourly to this asshole's rantings.

Okay, okay, ABIURO, okay?
It's your blog, so I won't argue with you.
I wonder, though, why a DINFOS-trained killer like yourself can't express his strong opinions with obscenity...seems kind of a shame, kwim?
